Suns shine at Oaklands to reach the last four

Sevenoaks Suns secured their place in the WBBL Trophy Semi-Finals with a commanding 51-97 victory away at Oaklands Wolves.
The visitors knew that victory would assure them of a place in the Last Four with their final position dependant on the other game in the group.
Renee Busch led the way with seven triples in a 27-point haul to go with 10 rebounds as one of four players with a double-double.
Anne Pedersen added 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Cat Carr dished out 10 assists to go with 15 points and Dani Lozzi had 13 points and 12 boards.
The Suns raced out into a 14-2 lead and powered further clear with a 17-0 run across quarters to open up a 24-point gap.
The lead peaked at 26 points in the second before Oaklands went into the break on the back of a 6-0 close. An even third quarter ensued when play resumed before Sevenoaks went on a 17-2 run in the fourth as they wrapped up the win in style.
Kyla Nelson recorded a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Wolves as they finish 0-4 in the group.
