It proved to be a fruitful weekend for Leicester Riders as they followed on from Saturday’s impressive and exciting win over Hatters to outlast BA London Lions and consolidate their place as a title challenger.
BA London Lions continue to search for their first WBBL Championship win although will be at least heartened by their level of performance in the opening 30 minutes in particular.

Turning point – Riders had allowed the visitors to maintain hope heading into the last quarter when it was a one-shot game at the end of the third. But, they put their foot on the gas with a 12-2 run when the action resumed and never looked back.
Key stat – Riders punished the visitors in transition with 20 fast-break points.
Game hero(es) – Kate Oliver had a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds.
