Team Northumbria earned a 10-point victory at home to Caledonia Pride for their sixth league win of the season.
Chris Bunten’s side produced a balanced scoring attack in the absence of Kara Bonnenberger and the two sides will meet again on Sunday in the Semi-Final of the WBBL Cup.

Turning point – After edging the opening period, Northumbria turned on the style in the second with a 15-2 start to the quarter. The visitors continued to fight and were back within single figures in the fourth, but it proved too late.
Key stat – Northumbria were clinical from 3-point range, shooting over 40%, while Pride struggled to find their rhythm both from outside and at the foul line as they drop to a 3-6 record.
