Caledonia Pride kept their hopes of reaching the Play-Offs alive with an impressive 72-59 triumph at home to Manchester Mystics.

The home side produced a 23-8 final period to get past the WBBL Cup champions with Natalie Bastian netting 20 points in the win.

Caledonia made a bright start as they held their visitors to single figures in the opening period to lead 15-7. The gap hit double figures at 23-12 early in the second before Manchester battled back to close within four at the half.

Isabel Bueriberi scored nine of her team-high 16 points in the second and the Mystics would eventually move ahead on a Georgia Jones three to make it 43-44 late in the third.

However, Pride took control in the final period with a decisive 16-2 run to pick up their fifth league victory and boost their chances of a top-eight finish.
