Riders sail to second place after dominating Archers on the road

Leicester Riders rolled their way to a massive 62-111 triumph to complete their impressive Regular Season and wrap up a second place finish in the WBBL Championship.

Head coach Matt Harber and his side also ensured they completed their highest ever position in three season of the WBBL as they led from tip to buzzer with a stunning offensive performance.

Soon out of sight after a blistering 29-11 opening period, they never had cause to look back. Alex Smith was sensational at point guard with a 20-point and 14-assist double-double, while Erika Livermore did the business in the paint with a super 22 points and 13 rebounds.

Riders will now play Barking Abbey Crusaders in the Play-Off Quarter-Finals, while Archers will match-up against WBBL Champions, Nottingham Wildcats.
