Hatters end Wolves winning streak

Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters continued to put pressure on the WBBL Championshop top two with a 72-83 away victory over Oaklands Wolves.

Hatters now move to 14-2 whilst Oaklands Championship winning streak ends at 5-0.

Turning point – After a close game throughout, Hatters had a five point edge heading into the fourth quarter before Gorrell scored consecutively in an 8-0 opening that made the score 75-62. Wolves came back once more, but were then held scoreless for more than three minutes as Sheffield scored the last eight points of the game, five of which came from the free-throw line.
