Cardiff Met Archers are still in the hunt for a WBBL Championship Play-off place heading into the final day of the season, after beating BA London Lions 76-55 at the CopperBox Arena. They will make the Play-offs if Oaklands Wolves lose on Sunday.
The win snapped a run of five straight defeats for Archers, for whom five of their six wins this season have come on the road.

Turning point – Archers won the game over the half time break. They established a double-digit lead as Merissa Quick scored seven points in a 12-3 finish to the first half; before Sarah Wagstaff scored the first five of the second half in a 9-0 start to send the lead through twenty points at 48-26.
Key stat – Archers dominated on the inside at both ends of the floor. They held their hosts to just 25% interior shooting and 14 points in the paint, while scoring at 51% on the inside themselves, including 34 points in the paint. Sarah Wagstaff shot 80% (4-5) inside, with Merissa Quick shooting 57% (8-14).
