There was considerable heartache for Oaklands Wolves as they stumbled in their last WBBL Championship game to miss out on a maiden Play-Off place.
Wolves had needed a win to make the top 8, but ended up being undone by Durham who signed off their first ever WBBL campaign with a victory, handing a Play-Off place to Cardiff in the process.

Turning point – It was 60-60 when Palatinates scored 8 points without reply across the third and fourth quarter break and that have them the momentum to take the win.
Key stat – Durham were ruthless in punishing the errors of Wolves and scored 22 points from turnovers.
Game hero – Nicolette Fong Lyew Quee showed out with a spectacular 36 points, 7 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 steals, while Cierra Ceazer has 24 points and 8 boards.
