Durham Palatinates recorded their second victory of the season with a home win against BA London Lions.

Just a week after recording their maiden WBBL victory, Durham Palatinates earned a second win of the season. The side from the North East took down BA London Lions 72-45 much to the delight of the home fans.

The result comes only seven days after Durham took victory in the reverse fixture. London remain rooted to the bottom of the table, having yet to record a Championship win.

Turning point – The hosts powered to an early 14-4 advantage, setting the tone from the opening tip. The visitors were unable to recover from the early blitz, allowing Palatinates to control the game’s tempo.
