All eyes were on the league because of the game between Barking Abbey Crusaders and Oaklands Wolves being shown live around the world on BBC Sport. And they did us proud, leaving some great highlights!

There was also an accolade for Vanessa Ellis at Hatters…..
Ellis was also named GB U18 coach and was joined in the announcement that Riders head coach Matt Harber would be taking care of U16’s. The decision got the thumbs-up from veteran play-caller Mark Clark!
Recent Riders’ signing Erika Livermore looks like she could be a real standout down the season stretch….
Another Riders player in Deanne Hayward has been shining from long-range and that was highlighted in our January Statstars….
And finally, Sarah Wagstaff showed just how much our experienced WBBL players are always supporting the next generation…and with a new Arena at Cardiff Met – exciting times indeed.
