Len Busch has been rewarded for a fantastic and flawless February with Sevenoaks Suns by being named Molten WBBL Coach of the Month.
The play-caller not only guided his team to a perfect record during the period, but a notable chapter of history as they booked a spot at their first major showpiece WBBL Final.
In a fitting end to a brilliant month, Suns came away last weekend with a magnificent 82-67 Semi-Finals road win at Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters to book their place at the 2017 British Basketball Trophy Finals in Glasgow on Sunday 19 March.
The Trophy Finals will be shown live on BBC Sport around the world and it was on that same platform in front of the cameras that Suns shone brightly when they breezed past Cardiff Met Archers 81-46 a few weeks ago.
That BBL Championship success came off the back of two earlier BBL Trophy South Pool triumphs, with Coach Busch and his side initially beating Archers 82-58 at the start of the month and then dismantling Oaklands Wolves on the road by 97-51 the following weekend.
They then went on their travels again and picked up a superb 79-71 league win at Leicester Riders – the side they will now face at the Emirates Arena next month as Busch and his players try to bring a historic first piece of WBBL silverware back to the club.
