Harris lands another Molten WBBL Player of the Month gong

Ashley Harris is cementing her status as the frontrunner to be crowned 2016-17 WBBL MVP after she scooped her third Molten WBBL Player of the Month award.

The Nottingham Wildcats’ star was handed the February edition after she was head and shoulders above any other player when it came to her stellar performance efficiency rating, which was a massive 29.

Congratulations @amabasketball21 of @nottmwildcats . Another stellar individual month! #theWBBL

Helping her team to win three of their four games during the period, Harris registered a February double-double with a superb 23.8 points and 15.3 boards per game – leading the league in rebounds.

The American shot 54% from the field and was also joint-third in the league for steals with 2.8 per game – a number that underlined how she has been highly productive at both ends of the court.

Even during the only game that Wildcats failed to win against Riders, Harris still posted a 29-point and 11-rebound double-double.

Harris also took the first monthly award of the campaign and her second in December.
