We take our weekly look at all things #theWBBL and we’re opening up this week with our favourite image.

While we can produce all of these fantastic promos and designs, there is nothing like some good old-fashioned fun to remind us of team-spirit and the WBBL family concept!

All eyes this week are on Sunday’s big WBBL Trophy Final and it was nice to see Riders showing how their players are working tremendously hard ahead of the game…..

One of their main tasks will be to shutdown Cat Carr – although easier said than done, since when the Sevenoaks colossus is not scoring she is passing the rock in style.

This past week has seen Archers start promoting their pending move into their new Arena and we can’t wait to see the WBBL’s finest treading the shiny new boards!

With everyone focused on all things WBBL Trophy Final, we can’t overlook Manchester’s Great Britain core getting their title bid back on course last Sunday….

Back on the Trophy Final trail….don;t forget…..this is where we are heading on Sunday – so whether you are there in person or watching on BBC Red Button, BBC Sport App, website or Connected TV – enjoy the big day!

And finally, on the subject of basketball and Scotland in particular, this past week will be remembered for the sad passing of a legend. Our thoughts are with Bill’s family and friends.
