Introducing FIBA stats to statistics

*This course is suitable for those with a minimum basic knowledge of basketball statistics*

This two hour course will introduce statisticians to FIBA stats. The first 45 mins will involve recognising what to see and definitions of problematical decisions such as rebounding, blocks, steals, assists, fast breaks.

The course also includes an introduction to a calling protocol. The second 45 mins will introduce the LiveStats programme and its capabilities and the last 30 mins will be working in pairs calling and programming details of a match.

Please note that if you attend this course you must bring with you a computer with FIBA LiveStats already downloaded (this is not available for Apple computers and cannot be done on a phone/tablet). The download is free and can be found at www.fibaorganizer.com.
