WBBL Play-off champions, Sevenoaks Suns, remain unbeaten in the new campaign after a dominant 88-42 victory on the road at Oaklands Wolves, led by Chantelle Pressley and Cat Carr.
The win sees Suns join Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters at the summit of a nascent WBBL Championship table, at 3-0, while Wolves slip to 0-2.

Turning Point – The visiting Suns opened the third quarter with a burst of 13 unanswered points, including a Carr three-pointer and four points for Julia Koppl. That followed a 9-2 push just before the half, in which Renee Busch hit a triple, for a 20-2 spell over the break, making the score 49-24. Carr was 4/4 from three-point range when, shortly afterwards, Suns added another nine in a row for 62-30.
Key Stats – All five starters for Suns scored in double-figures, making them difficult for the hosts to stop. Pressley scored 20 on 63% shooting, and Carr added 19 while shooting 62%. The team shot 53% inside, 46% three-pointers, and 90% at the line.
