Caledonia Pride have progressed to the WBBL Cup semi-finals by knocking out the reigning champions, Manchester Mystics, with an 86-76 road victory led by an amazing 33 points from Rosanna Reynolds.
The win avenges last season’s defeat, as Mystics despatched Pride en route to the silverware, and it means the Edinburgh-side have won three of their last four games, all on the road.

Turning point – After trailing narrowly at the half, Pride opened the third quarter with a decisive 15-3 surge as Reynolds hit eight points in a row and Robyn Lewis added a three-pointer to see the lead reach 61-49. That gave the visitors enough of an edge to defend in the fourth quarter, and ended a run of three straight home wins for the hosts.
Key stat – Pride shot the ball really well when it mattered, making 8/19 (42%) three-pointers and 18/19 (95%) from the line.
Game hero – Rosanna Reynolds hit a career-high 33 points, including crucial scores in the key run, adding five rebounds and five assists. She was the driving force behind the impressive stats above, making 5/7 three-pointers and 10/11 free-throws.
