Turning point – Lions had worked so hard to get themselves back into the contest after a slow start, but came out of the locker rooms cold after half-time. They paid the penalty as the visitors took control with a 24-11 period.
Key stat – Caledonia looked after the ball excellently and only spilled it eight times in the entire contest.
Game hero(es) – Tricia Oakes was immense in the paint with a 20-point and 10-rebound double-double, while Rosanna Reynolds continued to hold the hot hand with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
