Mystics take control against Pride to consolidate top three spot

The title race is still not over just yet for Manchester Mystics as they continued pressure on leaders Sevenoaks and second placed Leicester, with a one-sided home triumph against Pride.
Mystics snapped the game open shortly before half-time and didn’t let the interval slow them down as they pushed their foot hard on the accelerator during the second-half to cruise to victory.

Turning point – Mystics rattled off a devastating 20-3 run either side of the interval which took the contest from a one-shot game, to Manchester soaring towards victory.
Key stat – The home side were rampant under the bucket and outscored Pride 48-20 in terms of scoring points in the paint.
Game hero(es) – Georgia Jones had a terrific and influential 18 points, 9 assists and 5 steals, while Rheanne Bailey drove the home offence with a game-high 22 points.
