We look at who was lighting it up in the WBBL during February.

Scoring machines
There were two players who passed through the 20 points per game landmark during the period, with Molten WBBL Player of the Month Alex Smith (Leicester Riders) proudly leading the way with 22.3 per outing. Ashley Harris (Nottingham Wildcats) was second in the list with 20.3 points per game, while Merissa Quick (Cardiff Met Archers) took the last podium step with 19.4 per game.

Sharp-shooters
It was a classic and highly productive month for the league when it came to players knocking down their shots. A super 9 players all shot more than 50% from the floor and there were four who were in a leading group of their own. Onayssa Sbahi (Nottingham Wildcats) led the way with a blistering 72% and was followed by Erin McGarrachan (Leicester Riders) who also impressed with 71%. Great Britain guard Siobhan Prior (Nottingham Wildcats) was on fire with 67% and Zoe Willis (BA London Lions) fired 63%.

Perimeter Assassins
Step forward Alex Smith (Leicester Riders) who racked up 55% from behind the three-point line as she made 16 triples during the period. Rosanna Reynolds (Caledonia Pride) also had her radar fine-tuned with 50% from long-range.

On the glass
A trio of players all racked up double-figures on the glass, with Ashley Harris (Nottingham Wildcats) our chart-topper with 15 rebounds per game. Evelyn Ovner (Team Northumbria) weighed in with 14 boards per outing and that was a number matched by Dom Allen (Manchester Mystics).

Passing the rock
Great Britain legend Stef Collins (Cardiff Met Archers) has been lighting it up and was a standout leader with a superb 7.8 assists per game. Last month’s table-topping Onayssa Sbahi (Nottingham Wildcats) continued her nice work in her rookie season with 6.5 per assists per game, while there was a third podium step for GB rising star Holly Winterburn (Leicester Riders) with 5.7 per outing.

On the line
We didn’t have any flawless free-throw shooters during February, with Ashley Harris (Nottingham Wildcats) and Claire Paxton (Caledonia Pride) the only two players who passed the 90% mark after sinking 92% and 91% respectively.

Steal merchants
Alyesha Lovett (Nottingham Wildcats) stormed to the top of the steals charts after she took her defensive game up a gear to grab 4.3 per game. She was followed by Rheanne Bailey (Manchester Mystics) who snapped up 3 steals per outing and there were team-mates sharing third place in Ashley Harris (Nottingham Wildcats) and Onayssa Sbahi (Nottingham Wildcats) with 2.5 steals per game.
