Mystics eventually shrug off Archers in overtime

There was a dramatic contest in the only game to be played in the WBBL Championship as Manchester Mystics managed to outlast Cardiff Met Archers after the visitors forced an extra five minutes.
Great Britain guard Eilidh Simpson hit a triple on the buzzer during regulation, but Archers couldn’t follow it up as Mystics regained their composure to take victory.

Turning point – It seemed like the momentum was with Archers heading into overtime, but Mystics scored baskets from their first four possessions and that settled them down and put them back on the path towards victory.
