BA London Lions secured their first win of the season as they defeated Oaklands Wolves in the WBBL Trophy.
Mark Clark’s side open their Trophy campaign with victory to put aside their league woes with GB junior international Loren Christie starring.

Turning point – BA made a bright start and were able to stay ahead as they managed to repel the Oaklands fightback with a 10-3 run helping close out the victory in the fourth.
Key stat – Oaklands were held to below 30% shooting from the field, while the Lions scored 24 of their points from the foul line.
Game hero(es) – Loren Christie posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds in the win with Charlotte Ellmore and Tereza Brantlova also in double figures.
