After winning at Team Northumbria en-route to their first ever Final in the BBL Cup, Caledonia Pride have now collected victory in the WBBL Trophy as they tipped off their challenge with another triumph on Tyneside.
The Scottish franchise started brightly and never looked back as they now think about pushing for more history after that maiden Final appearance earlier in the campaign.

Turning point – In reality, there wasn’t one. Caledonia jumped out in the first 10 minutes to open up a double-digit lead and more or less kept Northumbria at arms’ length throughout.
Key stat – Two numbers stood out brilliantly for the winning team and that was a monstrous 29 assists, as well as six different scorers all registering double-digit scoring returns.
Game hero(es) – It was a team effort for sure, but Tricia Oakes starred with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Rosanna Reynolds posted an all-action 14 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds.
