WBBL Trophy, Semi-Final
Sevenoaks Suns 77-41 Caledonia Pride (19-9, 35-19, 50-33)
WBBL Trophy holders Sevenoaks Suns are now just 40 minutes away from successfully defending their prized silverware after easing past Caledonia Pride in the Semi-Finals, off the back of a powerful defensive effort.

Leading scorers – Carr 21, Clark 14, Koppl 12, Fritz 12 (Suns), Oakes 13, Thomson 11, Mackie 8 (Pride)
Turning point – Even if Pride posted the first couple of buckets in the contest, it was a false dawn and it seemed to kick start Suns into life. They held Pride to just 4 more points in 8 minutes to take the first quarter 19-9 and never had cause to look back.
Key stat – Pride shot 13 of 52 which was eye-watering and won’t win you many games of basketball wiith that floor shooting. Credit to that relentless Suns defence though.
Game hero(es) – Cat Carr led by example as usual with a captain’s contribution of 21 points, while Ta’Yani Clark showed out with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.
