The top two seeds in the WBBL Play-offs are safely through to the semi-finals, but not without both receiving a scare.

Sevenoaks Suns, the league champions, made it through despite a bold effort from Cardiff Met Archers, the lowest seed in the post-season. They won 68-56 as Cat Carr led Suns with 21 points, and it was she and Renee Busch who combined for a key run over the third quarter break to settle the game.

Second-placed Leicester Riders were pushed all the way by Caledonia Pride at the Morningside Arena but prevailed in the final moments, winning 71-61 courtesy of late Erin McGarrachan scores and a Dee Hayward three-pointer.
