Rarely before have we had such a rich selection of performances on the same game day, with so many jaw-dropping stat lines. Something reiterated by those who were squeezed out of our starting five – despite returning brilliant performances.

Georgia Jones (Manchester Mystics)
The Great Britain guard was in scintillating form in the home match-up against Lions as she propelled her team to a 3-0 unbeaten record. Jones was on fire and completed a spectacular double-double of 20 points and 16 assists, further cementing her place as one of the most productive players in WBBL history.

Chelsey Shumpert (Nottingham Wildcats)
She is only a handful of weeks into her time on UK soil, but Shumpert is already indicating that she could well be an MVP contender come season crunch time. The guard went off in the clash with Essex Rebels, racking up a majestic 39 points after dropping an incredible 9 triples. She also added 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.

Ta’Yani Clark (Sevenoaks Suns)
It was the ultimate all-action performance from the Suns’ star as she showed her full range of skills with a sweet stat line. Clark did it at both ends of the floor to help her team take a victory at Oakland Wolves, harvesting a superb and eye-catching 12 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals.

Cat Carr (Sevenoaks Suns)
The reigning Molten MVP brought her usual top drawer quality for Suns as they rode past Wolves. She found the hot hand early in the contest and eventually put up a terrific 30-point haul, proving to be a nightmare assignment for the Wolves’ defence who fouled her 7 times. Carr also recorded 8 boards and 7 assists.

Helen Naylor (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)
There were a trio of wonderful individual efforts from Hatters’ players, with Naylor getting the nod over her teammates. She helped her team stay flawless and improve to 3-0 with a win at Cardiff Met Archers after accumulating a brilliant 23 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals.
