In the Cup, Kara Bonenberger and Georgia Ohrdorf posted double-doubles for Newcastle Eagles as they beat BA London Lions 75-68 courtesy of a strong third quarter at Sport Central.

Meanwhile, Manchester Mystics are also through as all five of their starters scored in double-figures in a dominant 94-53 defeat of Essex Rebels. The unbeaten Mystics were led by Samantha Roscoe’s 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Finally, in the league, Riders recorded their first win of the campaign as Holly Winterburn scored 27 points, including 12 in a decisive fourth quarter, as they beat Oaklands Wolves 83-69.
