There is already excitement building for the 2020 British Basketball Cup Finals after 9,000 fans enjoyed the 2019 edition at Arena Birmingham.
London Lions lifted the prestigious BBL Cup for the first time in more than a decade as they took down Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks – spearheaded by the efforts of MVP Brandon Peel.
Meanwhile a last-gasp triple from Helen Naylor clinched a historic first ever WBBL Cup win for Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters as they edged out Sevenoaks Suns.
There was also an entertaining BBL dunk contest for fans to enjoy at the event as well as plenty of entertainment, music and interaction alongside the basketball itself.
With many thousands also watching on BBC Sport, on the BBC Sport Red Button and via FreeSports, there is already much anticipation for 2020.
“It was another great event for British Basketball and especially for those who were inside Arena Birmingham to see it in the flesh,” enthused BBL Chief Operating Officer, Andy Webb.
“To have another huge crowd of 9,000 at our latest event and many more watching it on television or via the BBC Sport app, is more evidence of the growing popularity of the sport and the BBL and WBBL,” he added.
