Our line-up this week includes the WBBL Cup Final MVP, the game-winner and two debutantes.

Monika Bosilj (Durham Palatinates)
It has been a long time coming and belatedly, after some superb displays this season, our first new face takes a deserved berth in our fab five. Bosilj was electric for Palatinates in the derby win at Newcastle after providing Durham with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists.

Helen Naylor (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)
Forget the stats in this instance because sometimes the game-winning shot is all that matters and in this case, it was huge. Naylor drilled the last-gasp triple at Arena Birmingham that gave Hatters that historic first ever Cup Final success. She also finished with 11 points, 4 assists and 3 boards.

Sian Phillips (Caledonia Pride)
It’s a first slot in our starting five for the versatile Philip who was a leading figure as Pride got their WBBL Trophy campaign off to a winning start. She racked up a super double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds against the visiting Eagles, as well as grabbing 4 steals.

Sarah Toeaina (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)
Having the WBBL Cup Final MVP in our starting line-up was a no-brainer after she dropped anchor in the big game and gave Hatters the platform to take that dramatic victory. Toeaina accumulated a fine double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds to make it a double celebration.

Harriet Ottewill-Soulsby (Durham Palatinates)
It’s a second appearance in three weeks for the Durham frontcourt star as she helped Durham spoil the home party for Eagles on their first outing at the fabulous Eagles Community Arena. She took down the hosts with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.
