BA London Lions closed out their WBBL Trophy run with a 92-66 home win over Essex Rebels.
With Sevenoaks Suns already confirmed group winners, London will now finish second in South 1 while Essex will remain bottom regardless of the result of their final game.

Turning point – Essex were keen to get their first win in the WBBL Trophy, and it looked promising for them when it was all tied up at half-time. Despite holding on during the third period, it was the opening minutes in the fourth when London pounced with a 9-0 run and it was enough for them to hold on for the victory.
Key stat – London’s bench were raring to go and they made sure to come out all cylinders firing, knocking down 32 points.
Game hero – Cotton produced an incredible MVP performance, putting up 28 points, 12 rebounds, one block and four steals.
