They posted their third league success of their rookie campaign to continue their hopes of making the top 8, thanks to a brilliant one-two punch from their headline performers.

Turning point – While Caledonia led after the first quarter, Essex took the initiative in the second with a super 26-13 period and it set the tone for what was to follow after the break.
