Essex Rebels are celebrating a rare but deserved success after two incredible displays from DeAngelique Waithe and Jessy Ward catapulted them past Caledonia Pride 88-57.

The former dropped 39 points and Ward weighed in with 26 points and 9 assists as they registered their third league win of the season.

Sevenoaks Suns and Leicester Riders continued their battle for the WBBL Championship title by both taking wins. Suns were unstoppable in a commanding 57-98 success as Cat Carr came close to a triple-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists.

Meanwhile Riders breezed past Manchester Mystics 79-65, off the back of 24 points from Rebecca Navarro.

Finally, Durham Palatinates are into the top six, but had to work hard to grind out a 66-62 derby triumph against the visiting Newcastle Eagles.
