Olivia Partridge has re-signed for the Essex Rebels as she looks to build on a very positive second year with the programme in the WBBL, entering her third year as an undergraduate student at the University of Essex.

Patridge, nicknamed ‘Liv’, was voted by the players and staff as the most improved player within the programme during the 2019-20 campaign that saw the Rebels finish the season eighth in the league, and was a key member of the team last year that finished 10-10 making their first ever Play-Offs appearance.

“It is great to see Liv sign again for her third season in the WBBL,” said Susy Davies, Performance Sport Manager.

“As a Talented Athlete Sport Scholar (TASS) and University of Essex Sport Sport Scholar she emulates everything that the University strives to achieve in nurturing young talent and allowing them to develop both their sporting potential alongside their academic studies.”

Tom Sadler, Head of Basketball Performance, added, “Liv is a very talented offensive player, who can really shoot the ball and we are hoping that she can continue to improve and develop on her first seasons with us.”
