London Lions improved to 19-0 and made it 30 WBBL wins on the bounce in a dominant performance against Gloucester City Queens.

The Lions travelled to Gloucester locked on points at the top with Sevenoaks Suns, and wasted no time in making the top spot their own as they controlled the ballgame from start to finish.

London held the Queens to only seven first quarter points and that trend continued at both ends of the floor as the Lions built a near-unassailable lead by halftime. Grace Strickland scored her first WBBL points as a Lion, as the relentless Lions offence kept the pressure on.

Cassie Breen capped off a memorable performance by becoming London’s all-time leading points scorer in the WBBL Championship. The sharpshooting American passed the previous record of 659 points.
