Caledonia Gladiators today announced GB International Chantelle Handy as their first ever WBBL player signing.
An experienced International basketball player who has a wealth of playing experience across Europe, representing at both club and international level, Handy featured in the 2012 London Olympics for Team GB and is currently part of the GB Basketball programme with 134 caps to her name.
The 4-time EuroBasket Finalist represented TTT Riga (Latvia) last season in both the EuroLeague and Baltic League, where she and her teammates finished the season as Latvian & Baltic Champions.
Chantelle has also built on her coaching experience over the years, most worthy of note as Assistant Coach to the GB U18 Women’s squad.

Chantelle Handy expressed her excitement of joining the club:
