Jade Mbam will return to Essex Rebels for the 2022-23 season.

Jade is an up-and-coming British player who had a great junior career in Manchester where she also earned an opportunity with the Giants in the WBBL for two years under the guidance of Jeff Jones.

Jade was a key member of the University of Essex team and helped them to their first ever National Championship.

One of the best on court moment in her basketball career so far is when she stepped on court in a Great Britain jersey.

She will also be continuing her education here at Essex as she will be studying for a degree in sociology.

“It means a lot,” said Jade. “As Rebels, we are all about personal growth and team growth so I’m excited to see where we can go.”
