One of the biggest sporting events in the basketball calendar, the British Basketball Trophy Finals, will be returning to Utilita Arena Birmingham in 2025, with an exclusive pre-sale opening next Tuesday, April 23.

Following the tremendous success of the 2024 event, which saw London Lions (Women’s) and Cheshire Phoenix (Men’s) collect Trophy honours in front of a packed crowd, the Finals return to Utilita Arena Birmingham on Sunday, January 26 2025.

The Utilita has hosted major British Basketball League Finals every year since 2003, excluding 2021 when the event was held behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Excitement hits fever pitch every year ahead of the event in Birmingham as this event marks the first chance of the season the best hoopers in the country have to win silverware, with the 2024/25 campaign set to be one of the most incredible Trophy Finals yet.

Capacity crowds have filled the West-Midlands-based arena in the past, with record attendances of over 10,000 fans welcomed for the Finals in Birmingham in recent years.

In between the Women’s and Men’s competitions, fans will also be treated to the return of the much-loved Slam Dunk Contest, as well as plenty of top-class entertainment, music, and fan engagement off the court alongside the incredible basketball action in both Finals.

With demand for British basketball at an all-time high, tickets for the 2025 Trophy Finals are set for pre-sale on Tuesday, April 23 before going on general sale on Tuesday, April 30, with tickets available from £25 via the Ticket Factory. Stay tuned for more updates!
