Super League Basketball announces ticket sale date for the 2026 Trophy Finals

Super League Basketball (SLB) is delighted to announce that the Trophy Finals will return to the iconic Utilita Arena Birmingham for another show-stopping event on Sunday, 1st February 2026.

Exclusive pre-sale tickets will go on sale on Friday 25th July, with general sale to follow shortly thereafter — and demand is expected to be high.

The Trophy title will be the first piece of silverware up for grabs in the 2025/26 season, and Great Britain’s second city is set to host an epic showcase of British basketball.

On the men’s side, the Newcastle Eagles will defend their Trophy title after capturing their first title since 2021 in a thrilling victory over the Bristol Flyers last January. Meanwhile, the Caledonia Gladiators will look to retain the Betty Codona Trophy on the women’s side, following their impressive win against the previously undefeated Oaklands Wolves in last year’s Final.

As the first Final of the year, excitement will be at an all-time high inside Utilita Arena Birmingham. Teams will be looking to set the tone for the rest of their campaign, chase glory, and secure silverware that could propel them to further success.

Off the court, fans can expect elite entertainment to keep them on the edge of their seats from start to finish, as the country’s top ballers make history on the hardwood.

SLB Head of Events Clare Holmes commented:

“The season’s first Final is always popular with fans and for the finalists, the road to a possible ‘double’ or ‘treble’ in 2025-26 starts here. Last season’s final was watched by nearly 10,000 people in what is a superb basketball arena and we’re delighted to return to Birmingham for what will be another memorable occasion.”
