Leicester Riders are excited to announce the signing of 5’11 British guard Kian Omer-Jones ahead of the 2025-26 Super League Basketball season.
Omer-Jones lands in Leicester after spending the 24/25 season playing with the London Lions. Last season in London Omer-Jones put up an impressive 10.6 points alongside 2.3 rebounds per game.
Prior to joining the Lions, Omer-Jones spent time with the Caledonia Gladiators during their Eurocup campaign and before that the Sheffield Hatters, adding valuable SLB experience to the new look Riders roster.
Internationally, Omer-Jones represented the Great Britain U20 team at the 2023 Eurobasket youth championships where she played alongside new teammate Katie Januszewska.
Across the tournament Omer-Jones appeared in 6 games, posting averages of 6.2 points and 3 rebounds per game.
