Cardiff Met Archers have looked to give their season a spark by bringing back a familiar face in Solene Lemoigne and also adding Portuguese forward, Carsidalia (Carsy) Silva.

Lemoigne has represented the Welsh club across the previous three seasons in the WBBL after joining during the summer of 2015.

Meanwhile Silva is a former Portugal youth international, who has spent much of her career playing in her homeland with Olivais Coimbra.

“We are excited to have the returning services of Solene, she will be a significant boost to our current roster as we head into the latter stages of the season with our Trophy competition tipping off this weekend,” stated play-caller, Stef Collins.

“In addition, we are pleased to welcome Carsy to the Archers, her previous experience at national team level for Portugal will be valuable as we look to keep improving on our recent form”
