Durham Palatinates are celebrating their first win of the WBBL Championship season after collecting a 63-58 triumph against Caledonia Pride. Betsy MacDonald and Monika Bosili lit it up with 25 and 23 points respectively.

There was also a first win of the campaign for Oaklands Wolves, although that was in the WBBL Cup as they progressed to the Quarter-Finals.

A 64-81 win on their travels at Cardiff Met Archers was founded on a captain’s display from German Anneke Schluter, who fired 23 points.

Meanwhile Sevenoaks Suns protected their unbeaten record as they came from behind to beat fellow title frontrunners Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters in league action. The 75-68 win was paced by Julia Koppl, who netted 19 points.
