Following the return of Regular Season action, March will bring a show-stopping All-Star Game to the Women’s League for the first time – with more details to follow in due course.

Upon the conclusion of the Regular Season, the pulse-raising Playoffs will take place, as teams battle it out to reach the landmark Final, which once again takes place at The O2, London on Sunday 19 May. The flagship event for British basketball continues to deliver record-breaking crowds each year, whilst providing incredible entertainment both on and off the court.

Emily Clarke, Women’s British Basketball League’s General Manager, said:

“The 2023/24 season is just around the corner and I for one can’t wait for the on-court action to begin.”

“Women’s basketball has grown from strength to strength in recent years, which wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of the teams across the League who continue to inspire the future generation of Women’s British basketball players.”

“Following a number of exciting signings across the League, the upcoming season promises to be the best yet.”

It is set to be another landmark year for women’s basketball, after the exciting news that the Women’s British Basketball League will make history this season, as for the first time two of its clubs, London Lions and Caledonia Gladiators, will compete at the highest levels of European competition in the EuroLeague and EuroCup respectively.

Last season saw London Lions establish domestic dominance where they took home a clean sweep of domestic titles. However, after an exciting off-season where once again the League has attracted top talent from the UK and beyond, it’s sure to be another unmissable season of action out on the court.
