Hannah Robb returns home as she signs with Gladiators

Caledonia Gladiators have confirmed the latest new signing to join the club, as another of Scotland’s Great Britain Internationals – Hannah Robb – returns home.

The 5’6″ guard, who has been a key part of the Leicester Riders franchise for the previous three seasons, began her professional career with the then-Caledonia Pride, having also represented Scotland and Great Britain at all junior levels.

The Scot hasn’t played for Caledonia since the 2019/20 season, where she proved a significant threat across the board with 13.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game – which is form she has carried over to her time in Leicester, establishing herself as one of the Riders’ top contributors and biggest shooting threars.

In 2022, Robb was a part of the 3×3 roster representing Team Scotland at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games alongside Erin McGarrachan, Kennedy Leonard, and Sian Phillips.

On signing with the club, Robb said:

“I’m really excited to be coming home to Scotland and joining the Caledonia Gladiators. Having the opportunity to play in Europe and in our own arena is huge for the club and for Scottish basketball and I can’t wait to be part of it! I’m eager to get to work and achieve big things with the team this season!”
