Paulina Kutycka is making the switch to join Cardiff Met Archers and she can’t to wait to continue her WBBL career having suited up at Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters last season.

The Polish player will be a valuable addition to the Archers’ roster and with just over a week to go until the start of the new campaign, Kutycka is raring to go in her new challenge in South Wales.

She said: “My decision to join the Archers came from my desire to gain a new experience with a different team which also created a new opportunity to study.

“I’m grateful that I can continue my education at Cardiff Met University and have the opportunity to play for the university and in the WBBL again. I’m excited to see how we come together this season as I really enjoy our style of play”

Meanwhile head coach Stef Collins commented: “Paulina will be a very nice addition to our WBBL roster, since she is someone who works hard at both ends of the floor and will fit in really well with our team here in Cardiff.”

Kutycka joins Laura Shanahan, Chloe Richards, Sarah Wagstaff, Robyn Lewis, Sara Jorgensen and Collins, with further player announcements imminent.​
