Manchester Basketball have made their first move of the summer for the women’s roster as they’ve announced that Lithuanian forward Eva Karasaite has returned to the north-west for the 2025/26 Super League Basketball (SLB) season.
The 21-year-old represented Manchester last year, playing in 20 games across the Championship, Trophy and Play-offs. This new season will represent her third in Manchester having played for the Giants previously, having notched 28 games for the Oaklands Wolves prior to that.
Manchester Basketball Head of Operations Dominique Allen said:
“It’s always great to return some core players, especially for a new franchise, so Eva coming back is great news for everyone. We loved her contribution last season and feel she can have even more of an impact this coming season.”
Karasaite added:
“I am excited to be back for another year in Manchester, and build on from last year’s success. I loved representing MCR last time out and playing in front of the Manchester fans. I can’t wait to get going again!”
