Sarah Toeaina has received another individual accolade after being crowned Molten WBBL Player of the Month.

The forward was recently handed the MVP gong at the 2019 WBBL Cup Final for her leading role in taking Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters to a historic and dramatic 62-60 victory against Sevenoaks Suns.

The Hawaii NCAA alumni has been on fire of late in what is turning out to be an eye-catching maiden campaign.

As well as her 15 points and 13 boards in front of the BBC cameras at Arena Birmingham, Toeaina has been tearing it up throughout January, featuring in multiple weekly All-Star Five line-ups.

She averaged a near double-double month after racking up a stellar 17.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per outing – as well as 2.8 assists per game.
