Manchester Mystics are through to the Semi-Finals of the prestigious WBBL Cup after outlasting 2018 winners and holders Nottingham Wildcats 73-81. It was Evelyn Ovner who was the difference maker with 25 points after going a spectacular 9 of 10 from the field.

Meanwhile in the WBBL Championship, both Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters and Leicester Riders strengthened their respective title bids.

The former was rampant in a 104-57 triumph against the still winless Essex Rebels, with Sarah Toeaina, Ali Gorrell and Helen Naylor all impressing for Hatters, who are now 6-1.

Riders have also only got a solitary league loss against their name after they strode past Caledonia Pride 93-68 thanks to a dazzling display from Holly Winterburn who racked up 29 points.

There was also joy for Durham Palatinates as they eased past the visiting BA London Lions 75-54 to double their number of league wins for the season. Monika Bosilj excelled with 23 points, 12 boards and 5 assists.
