Sevenoaks Suns emerged victorious after a hard-fought 67-62 home win over Manchester Mystics.
In what proved to be a rollercoaster of a game, Sevenoaks were able to create just enough separation to secure victory having previously squandered a 19 point advantage. Suns’ trio Judit Fritz, Chantelle Pressley and Renee Busch combined for 40 points to ensure Sevenoaks kept their unbeaten record intact.

Turning Point: Sevenoaks were able to regroup down the stretch and regain the game’s momentum having fallen behind at the start the fourth quarter. The visitors came out firing, after the break, outscoring the Suns 22-8 during a standout third quarter. A 6-0 run by Sevenoaks, mid-way through the final quarter, was enough to secure victory.
Key Stat: Bench points proved key, Renee Busch leading the Sevenoaks charge with 13 of 22 points scored by non-starters. The visitors, however, could only muster 4 points from their substitutes.
