There were tears of joy and despair on the last afternoon of the Regular Season as Oaklands Wolves were squeezed out of a historic Play-Off Spot as they went down 88-77 at Durham Palatinates.

Needing a win to progress, they were undone by 36 points from Great Britain guard, Nicolette Fong Lyew Quee, who made sure it was Cardiff Met Archers who cemented their spot in the post-season instead.

Nottingham Wildcats had to work hard to achieve their usual top four place, eventually outlasting back BA London Lions 57-54, thanks mainly to 15 points from Alyesha Lovett.

Finally, Leicester Riders highlighted their prospects of making it to The 02 for the Play-Off Final as they won 69-77 at third placed Hatters off the back of 16 points from Holly Winterburn. Their 19-1 record was their best as a WBBL franchise.

Now the exciting journey towards The 02 in London begins for the last 8 teams standing, who will now compete in the Play-Offs.

The WBBL Play-Off Final on Sunday 20 May is the destination everybody wants to get to and the line-ups for the Quarter-Finals have now been confirmed.
