Nottingham Wildcats, Sevenoaks Suns, Manchester Mystics and Cardiff Met Archers all won on Sunday as the WBBL Trophy action continued.

Last week’s Cup champions, Manchester, were given a late scare by Caledonia Pride before holding on for a 50-59 success as Dominique Allen tallied 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Nottingham bounced back with a 66-70 victory away at Team Northumbria with the visitors also having to hold off a late surge from their opponents to prevail.

Cardiff came from nine points down at the half to beat Oaklands Wolves 56-59 with Sarah Wagstaff netting 24 points, while Sevenoaks produced a strong final quarter to defeat Leicester Riders 68-76 away from home.
