Leicester Riders continued their charge at the top of the WBBL Championship table as they chase down the league-leading Sevenoaks Suns.

Saturday saw Riders beat Durham Palatinates 90-71 as Dee Hayward had a great shooting night on her way to 29 points, for Leicester’s twelfth consecutive league win.

Meanwhile, the WBBL Trophy group stage got underway as Nottingham Wildcats – who have already won the WBBL Cup this season – beat Cardiff Met Archers 72-65, led by 24 points, eight rebounds and five assists from Alyesha Lovett.
